Susan Moss, the 2019 Mentoring Champion of the Year

What makes a mentoring champion?

Susan Moss, the first Mentoring Champion of the Year, has embodied the heart and soul of this award by igniting a culture of mentoring at Cardinal Health and inspiring many other organizations with their mentoring success stories. Cardinal Health is a Fortune 500, global, integrated healthcare services and products company with approximately 50,000 employees in 46 countries. Through her mentoring expertise and influence, Susan has helped Cardinal Health successfully build a strong inclusive culture where their employees can grow personally and professionally while enjoying their work and creating meaningful contributions within the organization. Cardinal Health is making their company a great place to work for employees at all levels, and mentoring is an important part of that success.

“Working on building and sustaining a culture of mentoring at Cardinal Health has been one of the highlights of my career. None of what has been accomplished would have happened without all of the hard work of the other Cardinal Health program administrators, our dedicated mentors and mentees who participate and support each other. We are all a great match!”
– Susan Moss, Cardinal Health.

Design fit for a champion

At MentorcliQ, we don’t do anything half-way so there was no way we were going to just order a trophy online. We commissioned a local Ohio artist to create something worthy of a champion! Doug Frates Glass whose work has been featured in the Las Vegas Hotel, The Bellagio, designed this unique award just for the Mentoring Champion Of The Year. The design shows 2 figures championing mentoring, represented by a purple circle. Every year the award will be a one of a kind design!!
