The Nielsen Company has a long history of being thought leaders in Diversity & Inclusion, which has earned them a spot on the DiversityINC Top 50. In light of the new working environment, Nielsen sprung into action to ask their global workforce how they could better support them and used key findings to launch 2 new virtual mentoring programs in just 1 week.
These virtual programs support Diversity & Inclusion around the globe in real-time. Matthew leads initiatives to embed inclusion and equality into all of Nielsen’s global talent processes. Best known for the iconic Nielsen Television Ratings, Nielsen is a global measurement and data analytics company that provides the most completed and trusted view of consumers and markets worldwide. Nielsen has operations in over 100 countries measuring over 90% of the global population. Nielsen has been recognized as Top Company for Diversity by Diversity Inc.
Matt has been leading leadership development, talent, and diversity and inclusion initiatives at Nielsen since 2016. He is a business process improvement Green Belt and was named a Top 40 Under 40 LGBTQ Leader by the Business Equality Network. Matt joined Nielsen in 2010 as an analytic consultant where we worked with Nielsen’s leading global CPG clients.
Sr. Manager, Diversity & Inclusion
Kymberly is responsible for the organization's Inclusive Talent practices, from recruiting and interviewing to onboarding and retention, Kymberly's role is focused on ensuring the internal processes are inclusive and positively impact Nielsen's diverse talent outcomes and overall employee experience. Additionally, she serves as the Chair of the Atlanta Inclusion Impact Team where she organizes local events and drives the strategy set by the Employee Resource Group leads.
She is passionate about diversity as a driver of business growth and values an inclusive culture. As a Georgia native, Kymberly attended the University of Georgia for undergrad and Mercer University for graduate school.
Enterprise Success Coach
As an Enterprise Success Coach at MentorcliQ, Dave has implemented successful mentoring programs for global companies and has facilitated in designing and guiding corporate mentoring strategy. Dave helps companies evolve from a single mentoring program to establishing an organizational “mentoring culture.” Dave has volumes of on-the-ground experience mentoring acting as both a mentor and mentee in formal and informal relationships throughout his career. Dave had led mentoring workshops for customers including events at MentorCom 2018 and 2019.
Prior to MentorcliQ, Dave oversaw technical content for General Electric, and was sought-after by companies around the country for his experience developing total content solutions and managing content development teams.
